About Justin T. Johnson
I live and work in the Washington, DC metro area. My photography is strictly amateur, but I would definitely be open to making it into something more in the future. I primarily use a Canon 300D with an assortment of lenses and goodies. I also have a fun little Holga and an old Canon Rebel that might produce things for this site on occasion.
I’ve been taking photos since 1999 or so at various levels and in different capacities. I minored in art (with a focus on photography) in college and am eager to keep both my technical and critical skills sharp.
My biggest influences in jumping into this photoblog experiment have been chromasia, smudo and external monologue (who introduced me to this whole photoblog phenomenon). Thanks, guys!
This site is hosted by Dreamhost and is run on Word Press 1.5.1.3 using the BlueBlurry 2.0 template by Thitipat Nananukool.
My other side-project is subcurrents.com which is doing a little soul-searching right now.
I have purchasing info and copyright info for those few of you who might be interested. Feel free to contact me with questions, concerns, bugs or just to say hey. I can be reached at digital dot obscura at gmail dot com. In the meantime, visit me regularly and add me to your favorites at photoblogs.org. Thanks for stopping by!
